FAQs - Run with the Badges 5K - Glow Run

Q: What is a Glow Run?
A: A Glow Run/Walk event is a one of a kind night time experience that is less about how fast you run and more about the experience--getting your 'glow' on (i.e. glow paint, glow stick bracelets and necklaces, etc.) and having a good time with your friends. Whether you are a casual walker or an avid runner, we invite you to come be a part of the fun!
Q: Where and when do I purchase my Glow accessories?
A: You may purchase the Glow items at the registration table the day of the event.
Q: Can I walk?
A: Absolutely. Please be respectful of the runners and stay to the right on the sidewalk if possible. Runners will be on the roadway.
Q: Can kids participate?
A: Yes. We welcome all ages of participants. Children should be accompanied by an adult at all times and children six and under are not required to register in order to participate. However, our Race Shirts and Packets are only available for registered participants.
Q: Are strollers allowed?
A: Yes, strollers are welcome.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: We love pets but they are not allowed to participate.
Q: Can someone else pick up my race packet?
A: Yes they may. They will need to show a valid picture ID.
Q: Is the event timed?
A: Yes. We are offering chipped timing for those interested. We will also have a clock at the finishing line for those who do not purchase the timing chip.
Q: Will there be awards?
A: Yes. We are including more age group categories than we had at last year's run. They are:

male 11-15, female 11-15
male 15-19, female 15-19
male 20-29, female 20-29
male 30-39, female 30-39
male 40-49, female 40-49
male 50-59, female 50-59

Q: Where does my registration fee go?
A: All proceeds benefit Paulding Public Safety Appreciation, Inc, a not for profit 501c3 organization that supports Paulding County Public Safety personnel. For more information on PPSA, please visit our about us page here.
Q: What is included with my Registration?
A: Every registered participant will receive a Race Packet with a Race T-shirt, Glow gear and other great surprises.
Q: If I register and am unable to participate, can I receive a refund?
A: No there are not any refunds. However we can arrange for you to receive your Race Packet, T-shirt and goodies. Also, you can choose to transfer your registration to another person (in this case your Race Packet, etc. would also transfer).
Q: If I register and am unable to participate, can I transfer my registration to another person?
A: Yes. Contact us on our website to request the registration transfer. Note that your Race Packet, etc. would also transfer.
Q: Where do I park?
A: The race will start and end at Shelton Elementary. We will have plenty of parking there as well as event volunteers direct you where to go.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Packet pick up starts at 6:30pm. Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to get your GLOW on and take pictures in our Black Out tent! The race starts at 9pm.
